The Baton Rouge Zoo Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and advance the Baton Rouge Zoo’s goals of achieving and maintaining excellence in animal wellbeing, conservation, community engagement and education.

The 501(c)3 non-profit organization is responsible for raising funds to aid with the Zoo’s major events, including Boo at the Zoo, Brew at the Zoo, Zoo Run Run, ZooLights and Zippity Zoo Fest; supporting the Zoo’s wildlife conservation efforts; raising capital funding for Zoo improvements and additions; and creating awareness throughout the community about the Zoo. There are several ways to get involved with the Baton Rouge Zoo Foundation!

Amazon Wish List

The Zoo is always looking for ways to add enrichment to the animal's lives. This new wish list program allows the public to purchase toys, treats and other fun items for the Zoo's birds, carnivores, hoofstock, primates, education department and more. This can range from playmats and balls to spices and scratching pads!
