ZIPPITY ZOO FEST
At Zippity, we celebrate the day the Zoo first opened its gates in 1970! Guests enjoy celebrations and a family day at the Zoo! Traditionally, this event is held the first weekend in April.
DREAMNIGHT AT THE ZOO
More than 100 Zoos worldwide host Dreamnight for children dealing with cancer and their families. The Baton Rouge Zoo is the first zoo in Louisiana to host this special event. This invitation-only evening event is held in June.
THE WILD POUR
The next chapter of Brew at the Zoo and Roar + Pour! This 21+ fall fundraiser features tastings of beer, wine, and spirits, plus food, live music, and animal encounters. Proceeds support the Zoo’s conservation, education, and animal care efforts.
BOO AT THE ZOO
The Zoo invites you to join us for Boo at the Zoo, a merry-not-scary Halloween extravaganza. Traditionally, this event is held the last two weekends in October.
RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE
An annual late fall fundraiser and car show, featuring classic and custom vehicles, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and special Zoo experiences. Proceeds support the Zoo’s conservation, education, and animal care efforts.
ZOOLIGHTS
With thousands of lights, animated sculptures, and refreshments, this event is fun for the entire family and is sure to become a holiday tradition. Zoo Lights begins the Friday after Thanksgiving and ends on December 30.
