A Zooper Birthday Party at the Zoo is one they’ll never forget! Each party includes a ton of fun for the kids & adults and includes ALL DAY ZOO ACCESS! Be sure to check out our new animal encounter options. We take care of all of the details so you can sit back and enjoy your child’s special day, while creating a one-of-a-kind experience they’ll always remember!
Zippity Zoo Fest, the Zoo's birthday, is March 28th & 29th. We will not be able host birthday parties during those days. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Party Prices
- Party of 12 (Minimum Requirement) $250
- Party of 20 $360
- Additional guests (Ages 2 & Up) $15/person
- Additional Room Fee $100
- Maximum of 30 guests allowed

Deposit
A $100.00 deposit is required before a party date can be reserved. Deposits are non-refundable. Visa, MasterCard or Discover are accepted.
Payments
The final payment, based on your party size, is due at the end of the party and may differ from the initial birthday party estimate.

Zooper Birthday Party FAQ
To schedule a party, visit our website at www.brzoo.org and complete the registration form under the birthday party tab or call the Zoo Catering Events Manager at 225 – 775-3877, Extension 6253.
Zooper birthday parties are popular. To reserve your preferred date and time, it is advisable to schedule your party as early as possible, at least two to four weeks before your party.
A $100.00 deposit is due when you book your party. The balance is due the day of your party. The party host will calculate your balance due at the end of your party.
Your guests should check in at the main admissions gate, located at 3000 Zoo Circle (via 13350 Highway 19). They will be given wristbands and directions to the Party Room. Your guests may enter your party area 10 minutes before your party starts.
Yes, there is a party fee for each person attending the party.
Yes, you and your guests have all-day access to the zoo; however, once you exit the party area, this would be a self-guided tour.
Our Zooper birthday parties are held rain or shine. Please dress accordingly for the weather.
You may bring your own cake, but cannot get additional food into the Zoo. If you wish for your child to blow out birthday candles, an individual cupcake will be provided by the Zoo to do so for the health and safety of the remaining guests who wish to have cake. The cake will be cut and served by Zoo staff. Additional catering options are available from the Zoo and must be finalized the week before your party.
You may bring party favors. Balloons and whistles are prohibited for the safety of our animals.
Birthday party admission fees are not a benefit of a Friends of the Baton Rouge Zoo membership.
We do not allow piñatas, at this time.
