Zoo Krewe

Zoo Krewe is a specialized year-round volunteer program for mature teens, ages 13 -17, where members are provided with hands-on training on what it is like to work at a Zoo. Only a select group of Zoo Krewe applicants are accepted and reaccepted each year, but those who are chosen have the unique opportunity to do the following:

  • Provide on-site learning for Zoo guests
  • Learn how to conduct live presentations in front of audiences
  • Assist staff in animal care and enrichment
  • Support the Zoo's community events
  • Host walking tours
  • And much, much more!
