“Zippity Zoo Fest is one event that’s particularly near and dear to the Zoo,” said Jim Fleshman, Zoo Director. “Not only does it provide the perfect atmosphere for children and their parents to shake off their cabin fever, but it allows all of us to celebrate the many years of connecting people with wildlife and wild places since the Zoo opened on Easter Sunday 1970.”

Activities at Zippity Zoo Fest 2022 will include:

Children's Area

Princesses and other special characters will be on hand for photo opportunities near the Zoo’s Capital One Pavilion. We will also have inflatables and crafts for the kids to enjoy.

Entertainment Stage

Located next to our Children's Area, enjoy the talents of a variety of groups from across the region. All entertainment is free and included in Zoo admission price.

Ambassador Animal Meet & Greets

You'll get to meet some of our education department's animal ambassadors and learn a little about each species from our Education Department.
