BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo invites you to the third annual Art for Animals Exhibition, a vibrant celebration of creativity and conservation. Running from March 9th - April 11th, this event features a juried art exhibition, festival, and awards ceremony, all designed to connect the community with wildlife through the lens of art.
Event Highlights
- Art Exhibition: March 9 – April 11, 2026
Explore works by talented local artists displayed in the Atrium of the Zoo’s new entrance, open Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The exhibition showcases artwork inspired by wildlife and conservation themes.
Awards & Sales
- Artists can sell their work, with 20% of proceeds supporting conservation programs such as Bowling for Rhinos, Bat Conservation International, and the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana.
- Awards will be presented for the Director's Choice, People's Choice, and Jurors' Selection (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place)
