Final Stages of Safari Playground Construction is Underway
The Baton Rouge Zoo Safari Playground has entered it's final stage of construction! The temporary playground closure was necessary to allow for the delivery of essential safety surfacing materials. Now that the material has arrived the installation as well as final improvements can be completed. While construction is taking place February 6th-February 10th guests can take the boardwalk around the playground to access Kids Zoo.
