BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo Announce First-Ever Car Show at the Zoo

EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH— A brand-new car show event is set to roar into the Zoo this fall! 
The Baton Rouge Zoo Foundation is revving up for a brand-new event unlike anything seen at the Zoo before! The inaugural Rumble in the Jungle will roll into town on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., bringing together car lovers, families, and animal enthusiasts for a day of horsepower and wild adventures. 


This unique event will showcase an impressive array of vehicles — from classic cruisers to custom builds — all set against the backdrop of the Zoo’s lush and lively grounds. Attendees can enjoy a full day of animal encounters, family-friendly activities, and incredible cars, all included with the price of admission. 


“Rumble in the Jungle is the perfect combination of community, creativity, and conservation,” said Jim Fleshman, Zoo Director. “We’re excited to welcome a brand-new audience to the Zoo while giving car fans a fun and meaningful way to connect with wildlife and each other.” 


Vehicle registration opens July 14 and will remain open through October 10. Car enthusiasts interested in showing off their ride can visit www.brzoo.org/rumble for registration details and event updates. 


Admission rates for this special event day will be as follows: 

•    $15 for adults
•    $10 for children 12 and under
•    Free for children 1 and under
•    $12 for seniors, Zoo members, first responders, and veterans

All proceeds from the event support the Zoo’s conservation and education initiatives, helping protect wildlife and wild places around the world.
