Boo at the Zoo presented by Hancock Whitney

Boo at the Zoo is rain or shine this weekend! Rain gear is available in the Gift Shop.

Highlights of Boo at the Zoo 2025 include:

• Festive Photo Opps: Capture memories with Halloween and fall-themed hand-painted displays throughout the zoo.
• Princess Character Meet and Greets: Meet favorite princesses daily in a magical fairytale setting.
• Face Painting: Get Halloween-themed face painting daily.
• Entertainment in the Plaza: Orientation Plaza entertainment, including a show by The Dinosaur Experience and a magic show.
• Animal Enrichments: Watch zoo animals interact with special Halloween-themed enrichments.
• Pumpkin Patch and Treats: Kids 12 and under receive a mini pumpkin and Halloween treat bag (no outside bags, please).
• Costume Extravaganza: Wear your best costumes and tag the zoo to be featured!
• NEW this year! Children's Village, located near the old entrance of the Zoo, features free events, including face painting and a pumpkin patch, as well as a Haunted Maze.

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase at the Flamingo Café and the Boo at the Zoo food court, including:

• Lemonade by Sweet Honey Lemony
• Various Cajun foods by Dr. Flavas
• Snowballs by Kona Ice
• Jambalaya, Gumbo, and Boudin by Rice and Roux
• Cotton Candy by E's Exotic Snowballs
• Pizza by Hungry Howie's Pizza

Zoo Members are encouraged to renew their memberships online or through the mail before arriving at the event. The zoo cannot accept cash membership transactions on the event day.

Event Details:

• Time: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (Last entry 4:00 pm)
• Location: 3000 Zoo Circle (via 13350 Highway 19). Enter through Greenwood Park.

• Admission: Regular Zoo admission rates apply; members are admitted free of charge.
