Boo Den - Our KidsZoo boardwalk is the location for this Boo at the Zoo favorite! Visitors of all ages will enjoy this merry, not scary "haunted habitat."
Hay Maze - Wander through our merry, not scary hay maze! $1 per person, and proceeds benefit your Zoo! Presented by McDonald's.
Spooky Train Ride - No visit to the Zoo is complete without a ride on the Cypress Bayou Railroad. Our track is decorated with friendly ghosts and ghouls. $2 per person. Presented by Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
Safari Snapshot Photo Booth - Say cheese! Visit the photo booth, strike multiple poses and enjoy a beautiful, full-color photo. It's the perfect memento of your day at Boo at the Zoo. $5 per photo; includes 3 poses. Presented by Whole Foods Market.
EdZooCation Station - Our Wildlife Safari Amphitheatre is transformed for this event into a hands-on animal extravaganza! Don't miss our shows at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Between shows we'll have our volunteers and Zoo Educators available for games and more. The EdZooCation Station is graciously presented by Albemarle Foundation.

Q: How old do you have to be to trick-or-treat?
A: Treats are for children ages 2-12.
Q: Is parking free?
A: Parking is free, but the parking lot often fills up for Boo at the Zoo. Deputies will assist directing traffic, but please "bear" with us. Cars will be permitted to enter as soon as spots become available. It's best to get there early!
Q: Is your event scary?
A: Boo at the Zoo is a merry, not scary Halloween event. The Hay Maze, Boo Den and other attractions are not scary and are suitable for young children.
Q: Can we bring our own snacks and beverages?
A: Outside snacks and beverages are not allowed inside the Zoo, but feel free to enjoy your Zoo favorites at our Flamingo Cafe, or try out the Food Court!
