Egyptian Goose

Egyptian geese use a surprisingly wide variety of nest sites including the ground, burrows, ledges, cliffs and the abandoned nests of other species.

It is difficult to distinguish a male Egyptian goose from a female on sight. However, they have distinctive vocalizations; the males hiss, while females cackle.
